With more than 140 cadet and senior members, Pikes Peak Composite Squadron is an all-volunteer unit of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP). CAP is the civil nonprofit Auxiliary of the United States Air Force, congressionally chartered to conduct three missions: Aerospace Education, Cadet Programs, and Emergency Services. Headquartered at Peterson SFB, the squadron is an active flying unit and part of Colorado Wing and Rocky Mountain Region CAP.
