Deep within the strength of the Colorado State Patrol (CSP) are three core values: a small set of guiding principles, which are essential and reflect the seven tenets attached to the CSP badge:

  • Honor – The essence of a person’s veritable integrity based on the representation of moral character and ethical actions.
  • Duty – Dedication of moral commitment to a mission that involves sacrifice of immediate self-interest for the betterment of public safety in Colorado.
  • Respect – Conduct in accordance with honorable actions that reflect the highest regard for mission, self and others.

By adhering to our core values, we provide modern policing services for all persons to protect life, peace, and property throughout Colorado. Utilizing aircraft such as the Cessna CT182T, the Colorado State Patrol provides safe and reliable services to improve public safety throughout the state of Colorado. An externally mounted MX-10 imaging system allows the flight crew to enhance traffic safety and increase situational awareness for various public safety operations.

Proceeds from the air show benefit these three museums in Colorado Springs that are dedicated to the education of future generations through the preservation of our nation’s military heritage.
